It’s National Eating Disorder Awareness Week, so I wanted to do something to bring awareness. I wrote this blog post a few years ago about what it’s been like for me to deal with an eating disorder. I want the world to know that it’s okay to struggle. We all do in some way. Please reach out for help if you need it. I firmly believe that dealing with an eating disorder was not without purpose in my life—I want to use what I’ve been through to help others. I am happy to say that I am the healthiest I've ever been and have no intention of changing that.
