After submitting the form, you will receive an email from me about the trip. Be sure to check your spam if you don’t see an email within one business day.

Yes! I require a $500 non-refundable down payment at the time of booking. After that, we can work out a payment plan that works for you. The entire balance needs to be paid off one month before the trip begins.
What is the Average Age Range?
Adventuring With Shannon’s Tours do not have an upper age limit because Shannon believes that adventure doesn’t have an age limit. These tours are created to cater to the needs and desires of women who are looking to experience a more upscale style trip instead of backpacking through hostels and more of a cultural experience than a partying one. These trips accept anyone over the age of 18 but our average age range is late 20s to retirees.
Why Is This Trip Female Only?
I believe strongly in female empowerment and encouraging females to have the confidence to travel. However, traveling can still be scary and traveling solo is not for everyone! By running group trips for females only, women have the opportunity to test the waters of travel and gain confidence while not having to be completely solo. It gives women the opportunity to learn travel smarts while having an amazing group to experience the beauty of Spain with. The hope is that it will encourage women to continue to travel and gain more confidence when it comes to traveling.
Also, by creating female-only trips, there is an opportunity for women who already have the travel confidence to enjoy a trip with other people and have the chance to build new friendships while embracing new experiences.
Will Shannon Send a Packing List?
Yes! Soon after booking, you will receive a packing list, a full itinerary, and other important information.
What Meals Are Included?
Most lunches and dinners are on your own because I believe that so much joy in travel comes from food. The ability to stop at a cute restaurant that you found is an invaluable part of the travel experience. That being said, eating at those cute cafes as a group or with friends is also an option! “On your own” doesn’t have to mean alone if you don’t want it to. Shannon will provide dinner recommendations each night and you will have the option of joining the group or finding your own unique place.
Included in the price is daily breakfast because I believe that you should be able to ease into your day fully fed and ready to experience Peru. I work with the hotels to provide breakfast so please let me know if you have any dietary restrictions (I have experience planning travel for Celiacs). Also included in your trip is the Peruvian cooking class where we will be able to eat what we make as well as two upscale dinners.
Why Aren’t Flights Included and How Can I Book Them?
Flights are not included in the price as women are coming from multiple different locations, and I don’t believe that it is fair to announce one price that may be overcharging one woman to subsidize the price of another woman whose flight might be more expensive. However, I am a Cheap Flights Expert and even run a Facebook Group and am happy to aid you in booking an affordable plane ticket to and from Peru. You will want to fly in to Lima and out of Cusco. If you would like to book a roundtrip ticket to Lima, I can help you get a short flight from Cusco to Lima in time for your flight home (just coordinate with me first to help plan enough time in between flights).
What If I want to Arrive Earlier?
If you would like to arrive early in Lima for any reason, I can arrange an earlier airport pickup and another day of hotels at cost. Just let me know in advance so that I can work it out for you.
Will I Know In Advance Who I Am Rooming With?
Yes! Once the trip is fully booked I will work on roommate situations. Once the roommate list is created, I will send it out. If you are traveling with a friend, you can request to room with them. Single Supplements are available for $650 for the regular trip and $200 for the add-on (No single supplement available at Star and Sky Lodge).
How Big Is The Tour?
In order for the trip to run, a minimum of 6 people need to sign up. The group maxes out at 12 people.
What If I Have Questions?
f you have any questions at all, you can email me at email@example.com. I will also be creating a group message for everyone to communicate prior to the trip. That way you can post any questions you may have as others may have the same question! This will also allow you to get to know some of your fellow travelers before the trip!
What Types Of Payment Do You Accept?
Payment can be done through Paypal or any major credit card through a secure portal on my website.
While I will have my own trip insurance for the group in case of emergencies and for general liability. I require you to get your own personal travel insurance for the trip. World Nomads and Safety Wing both offer great insurance programs that will cover you in the case of a medical incident. Once you have gotten your travel insurance, I will need you to send it to firstname.lastname@example.org so that I can add it to your documentation.
You will need a VALID passport to travel on this trip. It cannot expire within 6 months of the trip.
Your travel insurance should cover you in the case that you get or are exposed to COVID-19 and cannot make the trip. Be sure to read the travel insurance policy when purchasing it to be sure that it includes this option. You will need to follow all country guidelines when traveling as well.
