I love this shot because of the way that the lunar eclipse changes the colors of the moon. Instead of the off-white moon that we are used to seeing, this lunar eclipse turned the moon bright red.

I love this shot because of the way that the mother and baby are looking at each other. The herd of bison was massive, but these two stood side-by-side. The mother regularly checked-in with the baby, and this photo captures their strong bond.

I love this shot because of the way that the sun hit the falls just right to create a rainbow. This phenomenon happens occasionally during the spring and early summer seasons in Yosemite Valley. As the sun sets, it casts the perfect light to turn Bridal Veil Falls into a beautiful rainbow.
